About

EUROPE NOW is a theatre collaboration that puts intercultural Europe on the agenda. Playwrights, directors and producers with a deep intercultural understanding are brought together to develop five new plays in dialogue with each other. Each production will tour in at least two countries. The main goal is that this structure will provide new stories, a larger audience base, mobility and opportunities for theatre professionals with mixed cultural backgrounds.

Five theatres that work actively to create a dialogue about post-migrant Europe. The theatres are – Riksteatern (Sweden), Talimhane Tiyatroso (Istanbul), Theater RAST (Amsterdam), Arcola Theatre (London), Ballhaus Naunynstrasse (Berlin).

EUROPE NOW is funded by the EU Cultural Programme.
